Sims no longer have aspirations or memories in a same way as they had in TS2. Instead they have traits and wants connected to these traits called moodlits. Sims will
get mood boosts from different events. The duration of a mood boost depends on sim's personality and the nature of the event. New home
or sim getting married will have greater effect than eating or socializing. Sim's wishes connect to their personality. This way a genius sim might want
to join science career and fulfilling this wish will boost the sim's mood.
Sims will be smarter and take care of their needs better if free will is on. It will still be possible
to turn off free will if player wishes.
Socializing has been changed from TS2. It has more variety and depth. Your sims will be more
aware of each other and you can't make two sims fall in love just by making them have casual conversation like in TS2. Sims can also
have conversation with multiple sims as a default.
Families still have maximum of 8 members.
When you play household, other sims in that neighborghood develop and age. Not all of them grow
